Paw Diary

Everything that isn't the walking

All of it is included on the free plan too. The only thing the subscription changes is how many active clients you can have.

Planning the week

Set the regulars once and stop rewriting them

Recurring walks
Tell it "Bella, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11" and those walks appear in the diary eight weeks ahead, topped up automatically. Change one week without touching the rest, or change everything from a date onward.
Day, week and month views
The week strip for planning, the day list for actually working, the month grid for spotting how full you are before you say yes to someone.
Services and prices
Set up the walks you offer — 30 minutes solo, an hour group, a puppy visit, overnight — with your own prices. Change a price whenever you like; it applies to new bookings and leaves old invoices alone.
Conflicts flagged
If a new booking clashes with one you already have, you find out while you are booking it, not on the day.

Out on the round

Everything you need at the door

Today, in order
The current walk and what is next, with the dogs, the address and the notes for each. Built to be read on a phone with one hand.
Dogs on file
Breed, age, temperament, allergies, medication, microchip. Photos too, so a new dog is recognisable before you arrive.
Emergency details
Vet, out-of-hours vet, emergency contact and whether the owner has authorised treatment — one tap from the booking, and kept on the phone so it works without signal.
Keys and keysafes
A register of whose keys you hold and which tag they are on, so returning them is not from memory. Keysafe codes are encrypted, and each time one is revealed it is recorded.

Getting paid

Invoices built from work already done

Monthly invoicing
Choose a client and a month and it gathers the completed walks into an invoice. Nothing to type twice, nothing forgotten because it was only ever in the paper diary.
Payments and what is owed
Record full or part payments, see what is still outstanding across every client, and check a month’s earnings without adding anything up.
VAT when you need it
Off by default and invisible until you turn it on. If you register, set your number and rate and invoices show VAT correctly from then on.
Cancellation policy applied for you
Set your notice period and charge. When a walk is cancelled late, the fee is worked out from the policy that was in force when it was booked — and you can waive it in one tap.

Keeping clients in the loop

Fewer texts at ten at night

A portal for each client
They sign in with a link to an email — no password to forget — and can see upcoming walks, request a new one, cancel with the fee shown up front, and check their invoices.
You stay in charge of the diary
A request is only a request. Approve it, decline it, or suggest a different time and let them accept.
A booking page you can share
Your own link for new enquiries, with your services and prices on it. Put it on Facebook or in your van signage.
Walk reports
A note and a few photos after the walk, sent to the owner. It saves a conversation and it is the thing owners mention most.
Emails that send themselves
Confirmations, cancellations, invoices and receipts go out automatically, from your business name, without you writing them.

Time off

Holidays without a fortnight of messages

Block out dates
Mark the days you are away. They are greyed out on your booking page and in the client portal, so nobody can request a walk you cannot do.
Clashes handled properly
If existing bookings fall inside your time off, you are shown them and can cancel with no fee, rather than finding out later.
Your own calendar too
Connect Google or Outlook and confirmed walks appear there automatically, updating when a booking changes and disappearing when one is cancelled.
